Hello, In my experience, companies with a good reputation and reviews are all legal and authentic. The time frame for returning the amount if a trip is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances depends on the company. You can always contact them to get the dates. Remember one thing. All these trekking companies run by "word of mouth" philosophy. So i would say unethical behavior is highly unlikely. Just keep your worries aside and trek. You will have a beautiful time.

See, everyone loves their own venture and wants it to perform good. They are legal and authentic. Just pick a good travel community. Whenever a trip gets cancelled the community will return your trip amount. Its good if they return within a week.
