Yes bikes can be rented. A bike trip is one of the essentials for Leh and Ladakh which should not be missed.You just need to submit your documents for renting the bike.

Bikes rented outside Leh are allowed only till Leh. You can roam around in the Leh city with bikes rented from Manali. But if you want to visit Khardungla pass, Nubra, or pangong, you should rent bikes from Ladakh.
