There are nice stays in Kudle beach , Gokarna ... Gokarna international beach resort, Arthigamya spa resort etc and Namaste cafe in Om beach ..but then shacks are adjacent to beach but then u need to adjust with their accomodation..
prices can go high in the season

Try to reach Gokarna on 1st Jan or after, bcoz Gokarna is famous for its peaceful clean beaches. And on new year's eve there will be rush. Don't forget to visit the famous Gokarna Temple and Netrani Island.

Zostel otherwise tripper. Both are awesome. Tripper is connected to the beach. I loved it. Zostel isn't connected but have heard that the place is good
