Mussoorie ,manali, nainital are few popular hillstations in india whereas I am more inclined towards the hillstations in uttarakhand. https://duniakagyan.com/top-hill-stations-for-visit-in-uttarakhand/ It depends do you want to visit the north india hillstations or south india

There are dozens of hill stations in India that serve as the perfect retreat. You can visit the hilly areas of India usually in the summer. One can also visit the top hill stations in Northern India if one wishes to experience the snow. One should avoid visiting monsoons. And In my opinion visit here 1.Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir 2.Ooty in Tamilnadu 3.Kodaikanal in Tamilnadu 4.Munnar in Kerala Also Read :-https://www.indianeagle.com/traveldiary/hill-stations-in-india/

There is no correct answer to this question. Every hill station is unique. Depends on what you would like to experience. If you wish to experience solitude with trekking and riverside camping you can try Tirthan Valley, Chitkul, Kalga and Pulga in Himachal. In North Easter region Gangtok and Tawang is a must visit and if you are fond of waterfalls then Meghalya should be on your list. Hope this helps!
