I would recommend Lonavala or one of it's surrounding places like Matheran or Mahabaleshwar. You wouldn't even need 10k budget if you choose some travel packages from Pune. This is actually the perfect season to visit the Sahyadri mountain range parts in Maharashtra.

While the most presumptuous answer remains the Northeast, however we would always suggest you to determine the distance or the state you are travelling from. If you are strictly adhering to your budget, checking out some of teh offbeat sites near your area would also be a better idea.

Given the budget, these are the few options that popped up in my mind. 1. Gokarna- the hippie paradise. Best for solo travelers. The stays and food is in budget. 2. Udaipur 3. Hampi 4. Rishikesh 5. Jaipur These are the best places to explore when you have a limited budget. Also depends on where you're traveling from. If you let me know that, I can suggest you better options. Keep traveling.

Depends on your preference. If you want beaches, visit Goa and if you like hills visit Munnar.
