Best is go for Raan of Kutch.Raan Utsav is going to start from November.Try to make plans in such a way that you are in kutch on full moon light.

Definately go for Rann of Kutch, it is a great place for nature lovers. Also make plans to visit the National Marine park of Gulf of Kutch. It is the first National Marine park of India and someone who loves nature should definately make a visit.

In Ahmedabad, you can take a morning heritage walk organized by the Municipal Corporation. It helps you explore beautiful angles to the old city.
Another Architectural marvel is Adalaj ni Vaav and also you can visit Lothal which is around 60 Kms from the city. Lothal is a ruin of the Indus Valley Civilization.
If you are willing to travel far, you can also visit the Jumma Masjid in Junagadh....google the pictures and you will know that it is one of a kind!
For being close to nature, you should definitely visit Gir forest and spend a night in the Rann of Kutch. Happy Travelling!
