Depends on wr u driving from and wat you wana visit Hampi is gr8 for the architecture and wonderful structures of ancient times .
And Gokarna for the beaches Both these places have a sort of hippie vibe
You also can visit Jog falls and Hogenekal falls

I'd suggest blore-madikeri-mangalore-gokarna-jogfalls-bangalore I did this last December but touched kannur between madikeri and Mangalore,. did my trip in 7 days

Try route Bangalore -Sakleshpur-Mangalore-udupi-murudeshwar -gokarna ...Very beautiful and clean beach , on road beach Marvanthe beach, Murudeshwar Shiva temple, sakleshpur tipu sultan fort on the way you will also cross beautiful Western ghats

You can go for skandagiri night trek, it would be one day trip. you can either go there by bike or car or there are some package available for same on make my trip. I can say the sunrise was amazing there with awsome view for clouds and fog, it is about 70+ km from bangalore.

Try the route from Bangalore to bandipur forest via kanakapura, kollegal ...the winding roads and great landscapes, rivers and forest are a real visual treat !!
