In my opinion 2 to 3 days enough explore jodhpur places to visit like city tour ( blue house) mehrangarh fort, toorji ka jhalra etc.
Hi, Best time to visit would be the winter months since the temperature at that time is pleasant during the days.
In terms of places to stay at, there are several old havelis turned hotels that give you a flavour of royalty at affordable prices and modern luxuries. Some names that I've heard/seen:
- Kuchaman haveli (the location here is a little weird)
- The Kothi Heritage - Chanod Haveli
- Rani Mahal

Hi.. Best time to visit Jodhpur would be Winter of course. There is a place called Durga Niwas, best for family, group as well as solo travelers.
