Most tourists plan their trips for the month of June. In June the weather is pleasant and the evenings are not too cold. However, according to me, the best time to go to Leh will be in August/September when the tourists have gone back.

Hi Ankur! Best months to visit Leh are between June and August when summer is at its full bloom and snow has melted. But In case you want snow, try winters !

Best time to travel Leh is between June to Sept. Weather is wonderful and moderate . However, end of August sometimes experience landslides and cloud bursts. People dont prefer to travel to Leh during winter months from November to February as winter can get unbearable and most trekking routes close down after November due to heavy snowfall.
