Road Trip enjoyment shall be altogether different as you can enjoy the scenic beauty and also cover some beautiful spots which fall en route. Moreover, in Goa also you will have more mobility and cover South Goa and other nearly offbeat destinations.

By road there are some routes. Most popular route is via Hubli where you can drive on Anmod ghat. Karwar route is driving on NH 48 and NH 66. You pass Gokarna too. Taking Belgaum route via Panaji is yet another route where you pass by Arvelam caves. There are a few trains you can check availability. Panchaganga express, Yeswantpur Karwar express and Rani Chennamma. Based on covid rules, these trains operate kindly check before booking and travelling. I took Belgaum route from Bangalore to reach Goa. It was a long drive, roads were very smooth and travel friendly. I would suggest train but if they are not available based on your travel plan, it’s better to opt for car.

The best way to travel from Bangalore to Goa depends on your preferences: By Car: Offers flexibility to stop and explore along the scenic route, taking around 10-12 hours. Ideal for road trip enthusiasts. By Train: Provides a comfortable, scenic journey with no driving stress, taking around 12-14 hours. Great for those who prefer a relaxed trip. If you enjoy exploring, book your car from MTC Car Hire. If you prefer a relaxed journey, choose the train.
