Bored being at home in lockdown, looking for suggestions for some peaceful place from where I can work from home for may be a month or two, budget friendly and if it may offer interaction with like minded people (is it too much to ask for? :D)

Check out FOOTLOOSE DEV in YouTube for work from mountains /Manali around 15/20k per month was available for a group of 4 people.. Hope it helps 👍

I'll suggest you to visit Manila town (Almora district), or Mukteshwar. The reason behind is nowadays places like Kasol, manali, shimla, mussourie, nainital have become crowded and you won't get relaxed mentally. But in these two also I'll personally prefer you Manila coz this place is located at the hilltop and at night you can literally see different towns glaring from (Dwarahat to Nainital).
