Hi
you can start with a day's travel in Chandigarh and after that you have two options for a 10 days long travel 1.
you can take a bus from sector 43 or 46 (confused) from Chandigarh to Manali
step down in a small village called Mandi on your way..
Mandi is far away from the hustle of the mainstream cities.. if you are travelling solo then it might be the perfect spot for you..it is really beautiful
after staying for a day or two in mandi you can hop on a bus to kasol. there is no direct bus for kasol from there... there is a stop before manali from where you can get a direct bus to kasol.. i need not explain the beauty of kasol .. it is already known.. Again it is away from the mainstream town but in the last two years kasol has become a favourite spot among travellers..
you can trek on the banks of Parvati river to reach another beautiful spot named chalal... there are so many cafes in chalal for your stay.. i would recommend to stay in Fusion cafe.. the food there is cheap and tasty..
from kasol you can spend the rest of the days of your journey in kullu and manali 2 or you can take a bus to the dharamshala
you can cover dharamshala, Mcleodganj and dharamkot from there as they are in a very close proximity.. enjoy the Tibetan culture there
also travel to a village nearby named Naddi to enjoy a beautiful sunset and sunrise view
try staying with the locals in dharamkot... they offer a room and food at a cheap rate
after exploring this much take a bus to Dalhousie, the Mini Switzerland of India.. if you have some more days to spare you can also cover spiti Valley from there
