Can anyone give details on Mt. Kailash budget trip from india. Can i go from nepal, if yes from kathmandu or pokhara? or any other way ? What will be expected budget, boder formalities etc? Do we need visa/passport or any other permission.

Govt. of India and uttrakhand state govt. organizes the trip to kailash and as an Indian you would have to enroll for the trip. Google Kailash Mansarovar Yatra

There are 2 Route Option : 1- From Nathula Pass side - 2 lac per person 2- From Lipulekh (uttrakhand)side - 1.6 lac per person.
