It is a nice idea to start a blog on wordpress. You can also start a blog on Google's blogger platform if you are doing just for a hobby. But in both case the very first step would be buying a domain name like abc.com, otherwise your blog would have a only a subdomain like abc.blogspot.com. I have also a hindi blog on blogger platform https://www.travelwithrd.com but I may transfer it to wordpress soon.

Hey Divya, You can get your own domain for Rs. 200/- for a personal plan, Rs.350/- for a premium plan, Rs. 800/- for a business plan. All these are billed every month. WordPress has great themes also. I've started using WordPress recently but on a free plan, and will upgrade in the future. Cheers!
