I have little bit idea about North India.. manali in Himachal pradesh , sikkim in North East would be the best.

Based on the Interests the couple pursues, below is the list 1. Incase you are a mountain person - Visit Himachal - Manali or Spiti Valley is just beautiful
2. Leh will always be an option be it romance, advanture or anything
3. Andamand Nicobar is on trend and the beaches, the sunsets or Port blair is more beautiful than Goa
4. If history and heritage - Visit Rajasthan
5. Also, Kerela is an option to be considered.
