I went to Hampta Pass (Himachal) & Pangarchulla Peak (Uttrakhand) solo via travel operators. Basically any trek with travel agents is safe to go.

In Uttrakhand and Himachal, every where is trek and all are good enough- trek to any village, trek to waterfall, trek to any temple, trek to some cliff or sunset / sunrise point etc.

Hey, if you are looking for a one or two day easy gradient trek, you can go for Triund or Kareri Lake, also Parashar and Brighy lake treks. If you are comfortable with medium level difficulty and 4-5 days.. you can go for Hampta Pass in Himachal or Valley of flowers in Uttarakhand.. If you are looking for a long length trek with high difficulty level, you have Rupin Pass, Sar pass, Har ki dun, Sandakphu etc. For more details, please follow on Instagram and Dm. Thank you
