    Hi Sangita, There are numerous weekend getaways from Hyderabad that promise fun, adventure and history for all kinds of travellers. One place I found that might interest you is Vijayawada. You can visit the Undavalli caves, Bhavani island and spend some quality family time. If you dont mind traveling a bit of a distance then you can go to North Karnataka and visit places like Bijapur, Hampi, Badami. These are places with rich history and your family might enjoy it.
