Hey Monika, Delhi is the perfect place where you can saunter around during the day. The city offers gastronomical experiences, numerous places to explore for culture and history buffs as well as a range of shopping experiences. 1. For food, you can go on a food walk to the streets of Chandini Chowk, Nizamuddin or head to Majnu Ka Tila or Humayunpur for Tibetan and North-Eastern food.
2. For culture and history, you must visit Humayun's Tomb, Red Fort and Qutub Minar. If you haven't been to India Gate, you must visit during an evening (and have ice cream). There are a number of museums such as National Gallery of Modern Art and the National Museum of India. You can also spend your day exploring Delhi's most iconic spot -- Connaught Place.
3. For street shopping, you must experience Janpath and Sarojini Nagar where you get the latest fashion at dirt cheap prices.
