You can follow this route in Kerala :
Day1: Reach kochi. In evening go to Marine drive.
Day2 : Kochi sight seeing. Kochi to Munnar
Day3: Munnar sight seeing
Day4 : Munnar to Thekkady. Thekkady sight seeing
Day5 : Thekkady to Kumarakom. Houseboat ride to Allepay.
Day6 Allepay sight seeing
Day7 Allepay to Kochi
