Hey Afsarul, Indians do not require a visa to visit Nepal. Just show a valid Identity proof of your citizenship to the police at the border check-post and move into Nepal. Though if you are traveling by your own car or bike, then you may need to obtain documents from the concerned authorities. Reach the Indian passport office in Sunauli to get your exit stamp in Gorakhpur. Walk to the border, about 12-15 minutes further on. Cross over under the archway and go to the Nepal immigration office on the right. A Nepalese visa is USD 25. You must pay for this in USD, no other currency is accepted. You are now in Bhairawa on the Nepalese side of the border. You might require one of these documents to produce at the Nepal border:- Passport Voter I-card Driving licence I-card issued by any government authority A letter issued by the Nepalese embassy Documents required entering Nepal with own vehicle Registration Certificate of vehicle Driving license Customs permit (called Bhansar in Nepali) Vehicle Permit (called yaatayaat anumati in Nepali) There is a different fee for a car and a bike. Also, fees depend on the number of days. For Bike NPR - 100 per day. For Car NPR - 400 per day. Happy Travelling in Nepal!!!
