Can I go to kedarkantha on my own?. what if I reach sankri on my own and then buy some cheap package for trek ?.

You can will go by own.. hire local and go for trek but for that you have to be there with your own trekking gears. happy journey 👍

I am going on Kedarkantha Trek with Togedr.in . I will join them from SANKRI as I am From Ahmedabad. So u can do like this also.

Yes you can reach sankri by own but by two Wheeler is difficult cuz of the snow. Road is very slippery for two wheelers. I would recommend you to take bus from dehradun to sankri. Once after reaching sankri take a package. It is difficult to carry food, tent, sleeping bags while trekking cuz of the steep climbing. If you take a package they will provide you food and everything including your missed trekking equipments which you need most.
