You can use the mobile app or your PC for publishing trips.I usually use my phone app since uploading pics becomes easier

No...you can publish it on the website as well. Also, publishing on the website is a better option, it's easier to manage the content there.

I like that there are many selections for publishing your trip. As many comments suggest, you can post your day trip both in the app and on the website. I am also afraid that some features in the application are disabled and are only handy on the website. But maybe this is my delusion and I just did not find it...Some users pick to use the desktop version as an alternative than the app, for ease of use. However, it's great to be in a position to flexibly choose the platform that suits you best. So go in advance and share your amazing travel experiences with the complete world!
