Yea you can travel by ship from india to srilanka. There are several ships operating from Chennai to Sri Lanka. The one of the well known ships is Karanika which is a luxury cruise ship from Jalesh premium cruise line. Another well known cruise ship is MV La Belle des Océans, which is a part of the CroisiEurope fleet.
