2 days if you want to visit and have a quick getaway. but it's so beautiful that you can settle down; only if you like to stay in a calm environment.

It depends on what do you want to do there, if you just want to relax in peace and enjoy the beauty of the nature then 4 to 5 days are enough.
But if you want to explore treks and other nearby places then spend 2 days in Kasauli.
