I believe you can check on goibibo, they offer decent hotels much better than oyo.

Ramada is very good and in centre of the market. Even Golden temple is less than half km from there . We stayed there last year . Go for it
We stayed at hotel holy city which is 8minutes walk from Golden temple

Near golden temple you will find Nestaway. It’s very cheap and very good to. It’s only 800 mts away from golden temple. And 500 mts away from Jallianwala bhag. You can also find buses to waga border near the hotel

Hey ! I visit the Golden Temple every year and usually stay at Hyatt , now Hyatt is far away from the Golden temple but it has free shuttle . Just my last trip stayed at Ramada and would honestly recommend that as it is very close to Golden temple that is walking distance. Also the market is so close for you to try the local cuisine and shopping
