Hi Gopal, campsites, restaurants and lodges have been kicked out of Kheerganga since they were illegally built on forest land and caused a lot of havoc to the environment. The trek to Kheerganga is still open though. You have two options, either you carry your own tent or stay at one of the villages at the base of the trek. If you do plan to pitch your own trek then you'll require a permit from the forest department and you must bring your trash back. If you stay at a village at the base then start early so you can reach Kheerganga top and return the same day. Also keep an eye on the news for any updates.
