Hi, Nikhila!
Every year, pilgrims are allowed to go around Mount Kailash, but the 6,638-metre high mountain has never been climbed. Some say it's because of the divine powers that this mountain is home to and some believe it's because of the sheer slopes on either side of the mountain that make climbing next to impossible. If you are planning to go for a pilgrimage, you can check with the local authorities and register your name for the annual Kailash yatra after procuring the required documentation and getting yourself checked up for fitness.
