North Goa - It is a crowd place. Beaches are crowded all the time, you will get too many pubs, bars, restaurant and casinos market places in North Goa. If you want to enjoy night life then you should visit North Goa. South Goa - It is just opposite to North Goa. It is not a crowd place. If you want to spend the time calmly, like just beach and you, to enjoy the serene beauty, then you should visit South Goa.

North Goa - Home to beaches like Calangute,Baga and Anjuna, a stay in North Goa keeps you close to the most popular beaches in the city.It is good for shopping too as it has Saturday night market in Arpora,Anjunas flea market and Bagas Tibetan market. It also has several clubs like Titos,Brittos,St.Anthonys Kyrioke along with beach shacks like Curlies. South Goa - It is more popular for its serenity and calmness. There are beaches in South Goa too like Colva,Palolem and Varca.Unlike North Goa,South Goa is the best way to enjoy a peaceul holiday. It is cleaner than North Goa as well and quite a lot of foreign travellers prefer South Goa to North Goa.

Hi Saurabh, No matter what part of Goa you are touring, there is something special waiting for you. Both - North & South Goa, have their own positives and negatives. North Goa: It is good for you if you like to be around large crowds and a convivial atmosphere all the time. Beaches like Baga and Calangute are always crowded. Most other tourist attractions like Dona Paula and Fort Aguada are also located in North Goa. Also, for nightlife and parties I suggest you to visit North Goa. South Goa: If you prefer some alone time or a quiet walk on the beach (Agonda and Palolem) or on the streets, South Goa is the place to be. In terms of natural beauty, this region of Goa is just amazing then North. For couples and if you are in Goa for honeymoon, choose to stay in South Goa in complete serenity.

Yoo can switch to different places as per your choice in North Goa. Whereas in South Goa, you'll find cleaner beaches (cleaner than Baga and Calangute beaches. Otherwise, Candolim, Vagator, Morjim, Arambol in north are much cleaner), pretty sunsets and peaceful holidays but you'll miss the party.

It depends on the beaches to be precise. North Goa is more accessible ; easily found scooters & car rentals in better prices. Arambol, Mandrem, Ashwem are quieter as compared to Baga Or calangute. South Goa is good with Betalbatim, Palolem & Arossim are great. But, South Goa isn't the same serene it used to be. It's full of pathetic Indian local crowds that litters around with no respect for nature. They just throw beer pints &cans around the beaches which wasn't found in North. Personally, Arambol and Manderem will be my anytime choices & would recommend the ones who likes standard, small & unbothered crowds.
