You are getting good choices. Norway is a very attractive place to plan a trip.I suggest you visit Bodo on your trip to Norway. I took a morning flight to Bodo, had lunch, and then boarded a ferry to Lofoten. On the way home, my ferry arrived after midnight, and the following morning, I took a flight back to Oslo. In other words, I didn't really see much of Bodo on my first trip there.

Norway is seriously gorgeous, not just about the northern lights. I've been there twice myself and didn't see the lights either time, but it was still totally worth it. When I went there, even just traveling between places or walking was enjoyable because the scenery is insane! Bergen and Stavanger are also awesome. Don't stress if you miss the northern lights, you'll still have an amazing trip.
