If you are landing in Delhi, do visit the mountains of Himachal Pradesh (kasol, teerthan valley, birbilling for paragliding)as it will be too hot in the plains in summer and avoid Rajasthan in summers as the climate will be in bearable. you can visit north east India for scenic beauty. or to Uttarakhand. rest depends on which time you will be traveling and which place you'll land. would be happy to help plan your journey.

Hello Sal, let me help you with planning to visit india for the first time during summer. First let me tell you that plane region in india during summer will be too hot. So it's not a good though to plan for plane region such as Delhi, Rajasthan , Gujrat and Maharashtra. Places you can plan. During summer hill station would be good option such as Himachal pradesh and Uttrakhand. You can start from Shimla stay for 2 days than go to kullu manali stay for another 2 days . after these places you can head to Dharamshala , mcleodganj . if you love tracking you can enjoy triund trek which is famous in mcleodganj. You can go bir billing for Para gliding. I can even guide you more better , if need more help connect with me on my Instagram page @aman__guptaaa

Or may be you want to witness first heritage city of India, Ahmedabad ? You can land in Ahmedabad, spend 3 days here. Then move to Rajasthan. Consider really hot weather. If you want to avoid heat, try to be in North India. You can visit Agra From Delhi and then move to Himalayas for pleasant stay.
