Shangarh is a blissful Himalayan hamlet stationed in a National park. It falls in the zone of the world heritage site. A few of the activities you may try - stroll through Shangarh meadows, indulge in bird watching, visit twin towers of Raila, there are many historic temples to visit nearby, interact with local villagers, drive down to Tirthan valley for pristine views.

If you are planning to go to shangarh, then you must know that there are amazing cafes. but these cafes are difficult to find since there are hardly any signs to show the way to these cafes and it's difficult to spot them as well. I went to two cafes, both of them were amazing. first one was `the plant pot cafe`. It is enroute the sunset point and has an amazing view. it also claims to be vegan. Another one with great view and to spot, it is better to call the host, Mr . Gursharan (9936284190 / 9716559526). He is an amazing host and will send a help in case you are not able to find the way. Do check this place out on their insta page to believe my words .

There are many cafes in shangarh with an amazing vibe, great views and delicious food. however, it is difficult to locate them since the way to these cafes are not properly marked. so it is better to call the cafes up and ask for directions. There are two in particular that I liked on my trip. first , The plant pot cafe. this cafe has an amazing view of the valley and hills and equally amazing vibe. Another would be the Mud hostel and cafe. it is a must visit if you love food. and the way to the cafe is through a village. thus the path is also amazing. You can visit my profile to know more about this.
