Going to prayagraj for kumbh. can't find budget hotel stays. most of the hotels are sold out and the ones available are highly expensive. any suggestion as to stay?

Instead of hotels, look out for guest house and hostels.

Try to talk to locals...sometimes at this peak time, people tend to rent out..you might not find them on websites though..

Look for guest houses, being a UP wala, I can tell you you can find hotels on the spot, near station as well, so if you cant see online, don't worry, you'll find it there only.
