To reach Ajmer there are trains from major cities to Ajmer junction. Another way of transport is by bus both private and public buses operate from major cities. From Ajmer Jaisalmer is 9 hours away. There are state buses and private buses that operate. It’s an overnight journey mostly. In Ajmer don’t miss out on Daulat bagh visit, foy sagar lake, Taragarh fort and Jain temples visit. While in Jaisalmer here are a few offbeat things to do khoohdhi visit, dune and quad biking experiences and sip of Bhangi lassi.

Great. I am definitely going to add some of ur suggestions in my list. I have same priority to travel via bus from ajmer to Jaisalmer, train timings are not convenient.
Winter is best Season to Visit Jaisalmer. In Jaisalmer You Should Visit Jaisalmer Fort, Gadisar Lake, Sam Desert Sand Dunes , Tanot Mata Temple. Spend At least one Night in Camps ⛺of Sam Desert Sand Dunes . Enjoy Cultural Program of Rajasthani Folk Dance during Night in Sam Desert Camps

Thanks. Sam desert is in my list ☺️
See if you are proper Traveler and want feeling to have traveler then use public convenience to reach location. Once you reach at destination city then highly recommend to go with per day rent bike where you can roam like a local and go anywhere as per your choice.
