If you travel (choose to ride) on Mumbai Goa high-way , towards Goa , you will find many such villages in the konkan region of Maharashtra , I still have the mud-house in my native on this highway, not sure if the women still use well for waters . The only problem visiting such villages is that, there are network issues. Like my native has only BSNL tower and that too range keeps coming and going .
Hi Harshit, if you travel inwards in villages of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh you will find plenty of villages. Also if you are travelling on the Bikaner-Jaisalmer highway almost all the villages are like that, so you can stop at any of these, they welcome tourists quite warmly.
If you want to stay at a place like that, there is one named Bhalopahar, in Purulia district, kuchia village. The place is an NGO and can be contacted by their website. They have a man made forest and everything. The place is close proximity to Jamshedpur.
