Hey Asif, This is 5 Days budget itinerary of Kashmir : Day0: Arrive in Jammu and take a sharing jeep to Srinagar ( 10 hours- Rs 500). Or you can take a cab to Banihal ( Rs400 ) then from Banihal take a train to Srinagar ( 1.5 hours- Rs20) Day1: Local sightseeing of Srinagar - Dal Lake, Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, Betaab Valley and old Srinagar city. The distance of gardens is 15km from the main city Day2 : Srinagar-> Sonmarg-> Srinagar. Spend at least one night at Shikara houseboat in Dal lake of Srinagar Day3: Sringar-> Gulmarg ( 3hours - 56KM).Visit Tangmarg town on the way to Gulmarg. Do activities like Gondola cable car, Ski and horse ride in Gulmarg Day4: Gulmarg-> Pahalgam ( 5 hours - 150KM). Visit Saffron fields of Pampora, Awantipura ruins and Bijbehara village on the way to Pahalgam. Spend the night at Pahalgam Day5: Pahalgam to Srinagar Pack winter clothes like jackets, woollen socks, woollen cap, gloves, moisturizer, first aid kit etc. Happy travelling!!!!!!!!!

The best way in this season is going by air. Book in advance so that it would be cheaper. If you want to go by road, nearest railway station is jammu and from there local taxis go there on sharing basis

Day1 To Amritsar: You should first travel to Amritsar from Delhi via an early morning train. Day2 Amritsar: Checkout jalianwala bagh and plan your evening at the retreat ceremony at Wagah border. Day2 To Dalhousie: If you reach Dalhousie by Day2 evening plan a stay at a good hotel/resort at Dalhousie/khajjiar and take rest. Day3 Dalhousie/Khajjiar/Chamba: Plan a visit to Khajjiar early morning and enjoy the beautiful valley there. Day4 To Jammu: Early morning leave for Jammu from Dalhousie/Chamba. Dalhousie to Jammu should take 5–6 hours on a normal traffic day. Day6 To Srinagar: It's 8–10 hours drive from Jammu to Srinagar. Plan to leave early and reach early. Day7 Srinagar: Visit the local places like the Dull lake, Nishant and Shalimar gardens, and Shankaracharya which are all very much doable on a single day. Enjoy the local cuisine. Day8 To Chandigarh: By Air, there are numerous flights to Chandigarh. Also, You can first travel to Jammu and take a governing bus to Chandigarh. Day9: To Delhi: take an overnight bus or an early morning bus to Delhi. Good Luck!!

For kashmir. Pathankot is the nearest station. You can reach here by bus, train or flight. Jammu is just 2 Hours far from pathankot by bus or car via lakhanpur. or you can take direct flight/train to Kashmir from New Delhi(If any). From Jammu kashmir is 300-400kms approx.

Hi Take flight to Srinagar. Stay there in a houseboat. Next day go to Gulmarg and come back to srinagar. Then next day go for pehalgaon and stay there it is a beautiful place. You can even go to sonmarg.
