Hey Shital, It depends on airlines only and the mode of options selected while booking. Check your booking status,If your booking is refundable / Non-refundable. It is advisable to do dummy booking ( flight and hotels ) in such cases, mostly when you are uncertain.

As per my experience it will depend have you booked refundable ticket or non refundable... else they will cut 60-70% of your money and return a small amount of they will do
