Hi, this is a common misconception observed. their currency may have a lesser value, but they have a better purchasing power, plainly meaning, a bottle of water in India costs ₹10, the same bottle there, converted to Indian rupees, may cost ₹20. so despite their currency being weaker, you are paying more. the best way to evaluate is using a cost of living website. check it on Google as cost of living in Mumbai vs cost of living in Mongolia or similar and you shall get the exact values. hope it helps. Cheers!
