Hi,
this is a common misconception observed. their currency may have a lesser value, but they have a better purchasing power, plainly meaning, a bottle of water in India costs ₹10, the same bottle there, converted to Indian rupees, may cost ₹20. so despite their currency being weaker, you are paying more.
the best way to evaluate is using a cost of living website. check it on Google as cost of living in Mumbai vs cost of living in Mongolia or similar and you shall get the exact values.
