In Himachal you can visit Dalhousie and Dharamshala..only thing is in December it will be too cold.. Somethimes temperature goes down till minus..If you are planning trip to any above places from Himachal..let me know I will be happy to help.. you can check photos from my Himachal trip

If u are planning to go to himachal and that too in December then mabali is a must visit as u don't have to go uphill to find sbow. You will get a snowfall in manali itself. Apart from shimla and manali if u want to explore more of himachal then mandi is a must visit. Since it's a honeymoon then no place can be better than boathouses in allepi in kerala
