You could plan a trip to Jaipur which is 6 hours away from Delhi. Rains are yet to start in Jaipur. Neemrana is a historical spot Rishikesh and Haridwar are great spots to visit now

Uttrakhand: Mussoorie, Dhanulti, Dehradun, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Lansdowne, Naukuchiatal, Bhimtal, Nainital, Mukteshwar.
Punjab: Amritsar
Himachal: Kasuali, Morni hills. All these are weekend getaways for which you'll need approx 2 nights and 3 days.

As a thumb rule,for travelling in the hills especially during the rainy season, one should always check the weather forecast, to plan for any hikes or road journeys I would suggest a weather app that might come in handy or a word with the locals.

If not hills, you can head towards Rajasthan,neemrana fort and Jaipur if hills, from nainital, mukteshwar to Rishikesh should be fine without much of a hilly terrain that can cause a hindrance.
