Hello, There are quite many beaches in gokarna like OM beach (worth visiting, try looking for OM shap across the coast)

I would suggest Gokarna. Transport is easily available from.Bangalore. overnight sleeper buses are available At reasonable prices. Also, if you want in budget, zostels are easily accessible and are in good location. As for the places, it offers few very beautiful 7-8 beaches and you can cover all of them in 2-3 days. Few of my favorites would be:

half moon beach
paradise beach
Also there are trekkers trail through the forest to cover all the beaches and it covers some unique view points. That being said, it can be tiring for some and requires a bare minimum fitness.
Also, Gokarna is quite hot and humid. so stay hydrated and wear sweat absorption clothes.
please note water sports are not available on Gokarna but it does offer cool shacks near the beaches
