Weather is humid actually but now as monsoon is entering it might be raining or so . pondicherry is very small town. very clean u can hire two wheelers and roam around. I have written a blog on that u can check that for places and I have missed "paradise beach". u can try many cafes and restaurants if u carry more cash. budget is normal not to costly . happy traveling.
