April being summer month of India, I would suggest hill stations are ideal places to travel to. Shimla -Manaki-Auli-Nainital-Munnar -Lambhasinghi-Darjeeling -Ooty and Kodaikanal -Coorg-Mahabaleshwar -Leh- Gulmarg -pahalgam -Srinagar- Mussoorie - Lonavala -Gangtok- Shillong -Tawang. Nubra valley- Dalhousie-kalimpong- Khandala-Matheran-Kausani-Kasauli are some exquisitive spots to explore in summer.

Munnar Ooty Nilgiris. these u can visit in south.
If you love to explore nature, waterfalls, root bridges, tabletop mountains etc then you can visit Shillong (Meghalaya). Moreover, at present the temperature is very pleasant in Shillong.
