Hello Friends, I am Dr Arun Aggarwal (Gastroenterologist) actually my friend was planning to go Dalhousie from Delhi in February and his budget is around 3k. Can anyone suggest its right to go there or can suggest any other place in this budget please.

Cost of travelling from Delhi to Dalhousie for a holiday can depend on the number of days your friend is planning to spend in Dalhousie, the mode of travel, and the accommodation. There are luxury and ordinary buses from Delhi to Dalhousie. If your friend chooses to travel by a luxury bus, fares can range from ₹1,000 to ₹1,500 per person for one way journey. Travelling by ordinary bus can be cheaper, but comfort is the trade off. Nainital, Shimla, Lansdowne can be other options which can only cost just around ₹3,000. However, the budget of ₹3,000 may not allow your friend to have a comprehensive experience.

Hi, Arun. I have been to Dalhousie(4D/3N) and it had cost me around 7-8k so I will suggest you to tell your friend that he/she can travel to Lansdowne or Kasol and it will be a good trip under 3k.
UpvoteCommentFor budget travel to Dalhousie from Delhi, take overnight train from Delhi to Pathankot. From pathankot take bus or share taxi to Dalhousie. 1 night Dalhousie. Travel in offseason. You may find accomodation around 700 per day. 1 day visit Khajjiar. Return pathankot and back Delhi
