Great so that means you will be flying. Here are some options for you, Pondicherry and Varkala are some less touristy places. You can also go to Andaman, it is definetly a great family vacation place. This is if you have already considered Goa. Here is everything you can know about beaches in India. Hi @prerna Not sure of your starting point, but if you want value for money and enjoy good beaches I would strongly recommend flying into Mangalore and then hiring a cab or self drive vehicle and visiting the beaches on its coastline. Food is also awesome at all the beaches. Enjoy your stay and travel. Rest if you want happening beach then Goa Gokarna is more laid back and mostly for solo travelers

You can plan for Kerela. It is truly God' own country. You could also consider Chennai. The beaches there are very clean. If at all you are considering Goa (one of my fav places in India), here is a detailed guide to Goa and Chorao Island for your reference.
