Hello Guys, I'm planning a trip to United States this December. Will I be able to get Visa and if anyone has recently traveled, then how convenient and safe is it to travel to New York amidst this pandemic??

I am still not sure if they a Tourist Visa is accepted yet. Work Visas are accepted at some locations. You need to check at the embassy for that.
