Hey Karan, If you are planning to travel from Leh to Manali, there are a lot of places and spots you can cover while coming down. You can hire a car/bike from Leh to reach Manali. The total distance is around 475km and the time taken is around 13-14 hours, which is a little difficult to cover in one go. While you are coming down from Leh to Manali, you can take a little detour and visit Tso Moriri Lake crossing Tanglang la, the third highest motorable road in the world, which is around 5 hours from Leh. You can choose to stay in a homestay or camps around the lake. More Plains is one amazing spot for photography. Stop at Pang to have a hot cup of tea and all-time favorite maggie. You will be crossing Lachung La, before reaching Sarchu. The next stop will be Sarchu, there are fewer options to stay in Sarchu and camping is the best way to spend a night there. You will get options on the way or can you pre-book them. Start early in the morning if you plan to reach Manali on the same day otherwise you can stay at Keylong and start the next day and reach Manali.
