Best option would be to use a laptop (web interface). I struggled with the app initially as well. App is great for viewing purposes, but for publishing use the laptop!

If the webpage is static, copy all the text to a notepad (as backup) & reload (refresh) the page. The images might be lost but I'm sure you must have a local copy of them. Then paste back the content and publish again. Could just be a network glitch which is usually temporary.
