Hi! January is a great time to explore London just be prepared for the chill! For central London, areas like Covent Garden, Soho, and Southbank are super convenient and walkable to major sights. If you’re staying longer or prefer a more local feel, places like Clerkenwell or Marylebone offer great vibes and access. You might also want to check with some local estate agents London based they sometimes have short-term rental listings that can be more comfortable and affordable than hotels. Have a great trip!

Hi there! I visited London earlier this year and stayed in central London, which I’d definitely recommend for convenience. If you’re looking for a comfortable and well-connected place, I suggest checking out Edward Hotel near Hyde Park — it’s close to Paddington Station, Oxford Street, and major attractions, making it super easy to explore the city. The hotel offers great value, cozy rooms, and a friendly atmosphere — perfect for both short and long stays. You’ll also find plenty of cafes, shops, and restaurants nearby.

If you’re visiting London in January, you’re going to love it—fewer crowds, great winter vibes, and tons of places to explore. Since you prefer central London, I’d definitely recommend staying around the Bayswater, Kensington, or Paddington areas. They’re super well-connected, safe, and close to major attractions like Hyde Park, Notting Hill, and the museums in South Kensington. Based on my own experience, Grand Plaza Serviced Apartments is a great option. The apartments are spacious, clean, and come with a small kitchen, which is really convenient—especially during winter if you want to relax indoors sometimes. Plus, it’s just a short walk from Hyde Park and two tube stations (Bayswater and Queensway), so getting around the city is really easy. Overall, staying somewhere central makes a huge difference when you're exploring London for the first time. Grand Plaza worked really well for me, so I'd definitely recommend checking it out.
