I think homestay is the way to go in Lavasa if you are looking for budget stay. you can checkout Airbnb and can find quite a few nice flats which are even waterfront. If you want to go luxury, I will suggest Mercure hotel.. it's at a great location and has good amenities. Happy Travelling :)
