Hello Opensky Routes. Of course, You can take route from Sri Nagar to Leh. You can go via Sri Nagar > Kargil > Leh Sri Nagar to Kargil Distance : 202 km (Approx) Kargil to Leh Distance : 217 km (Approx) In addition, If yo have more time, you can spend some time in Sri Nagar also. Trust me, its a very beautiful place. It surrounded by awesome places like Gulmarg, Sonmarg, Pahalgam etc

I did bangalore to leh and back this year, first what bike do you have or are you planning to get a bike on rent... in case of rent are you planning to get it from delhi or chandigarh or srinagar... even if you have your own bike... it ll be better if you send the bike by train and riding in central India gets a bit boring on highways... There are two ways to reach leh (majorly) from Srinagar or from Manali... both routes have there own pros and cons (which lets not get into right now) The main thing would be to plan your stops assuming you are going on your own and not by some touring company... riding so much in mountains could be a little tricky without proper rest... Srinagar and Sonmarg are close by so you should target crossing Zozilla the same day and may be stop at kargil or dras if you get tired... from kargil you can do leh in the same day but then there are some pretty places on the way you can check and stay at some homestay for a night or two... After leh yes Nubra/Pangong/Turtuk and all you can do and come back to leh I hope this helps

Thank you so much for details info. I am planning to rent a bike in Sri nagar. I will come to Sri nagar by filght. from Srinagar to Leh..and return Leh to sri nagar. Are two weeks enough ?

Hello Veere, I'm from haryana and willing to explore ladakh this year in late May. To answer ur questions, road conditions hav suddenly improved after d galwan clash. BRO is tirelessly addressing this issue and solely making it accessible to every indian. Yeah, Fuel pump availability is still n issue but you might get it in black in almost every village.
